CALIDONA handles all phases of the resort-construction process: acquisition of the land; development of the master plan; town-planning processing; marketing; architectural management; control of construction; delivery of housing units and post-sales service; as well as resort management.

The key to making this work is to find the best specialists in each business area: landscape designers, engineers, architects, golf-course designers, attorneys and real-estate agents. We aim to bring customers excellence in every aspect of what we do.

The business activity of the holding company, CALIDONA S.L., is structured around four companies with different complementary activities:

CALIDONA RESORTS
The core of the CALIDONA Group, CALIDONA Resorts is in charge of providing overall advice on setting up development projects of these characteristics: selecting the land, identifying the business model, strategic management, financial management, control of marketing, human resources, technical management, etc. CALIDONA Resorts has a staff of 20 people to perform these functions and has preferential collaborative agreements with leading Spanish and international companies specializing in the different areas of activity (advertising agencies, designers of master plans, golf-course designers, specialists in town planning, etc.).

CALIDONA ESTATES
This is an experienced team that takes care of setting sales objectives and strategies, building networks of agents and creating agent loyalty. Thanks to the geographic specialization of the business promoters, work is always geared towards the target market: Spain, the United Kingdom, Germany, France, Norway, etc. Calidona Estates handles the sale of housing units in the Group’s projects through intensive collaboration with more than 600 Spanish and international real-estate agencies. The company’s team of 35 people contact agencies and maintain relations with them at sales points near each project site. From April 2004 to December 2005, Calidona Estates intermediated in the sale of more than 1,500 housing units in the Roda and Corvera projects.

CALIDONA ARQUITECTURA
Currently made up of 6 architects, 1 quantity surveyor and 1 draftsman, CALIDONA Arquitectura offers auditing services for projects outsourced to professionals for the Group’s different projects, as well as expert management, technical assistance and the preparation of architectural projects. CALIDONA Arquitectura also shares projects with other renowned architectural studios to take advantage of specialist golf-resort experience.

CALIDONA GREEN
This team of professionals specializes in landscape design for golf courses. It also supplies trees and plants for the different projects and has considerable experience in negotiating preferential agreements with international suppliers (in Egypt, Israel, Argentina. etc.). CALIDONA Green is also in charge of maintaining the gardens of the Group’s real-estate complexes.
